A star adorning the top of a Christmas tree always reminds one to make a wish. This unique design of an 8 pointed star seams to have a 3-D appearance by the artist who painted it. Each "point" of the star has a black line separating shiny gold glitter on one side next to a soft matte gold surface on the opposite side. The star is surrounded by a design of curling white lines filled with gold glitter to further enhance the shape. The addition of sparkling white glitter at the very top gives a soft touch to resemble snow on this matte red finial.
