"Sapphire" Glass Christmas Tree Topper

"Sapphire" is a matte blue glass 10.5" (270 mm) Christmas tree topper decorated with a different style of glitter to accent the very top and ball portions of this finial design. The glitter is not the usual round or tiny squares but in the shape of slender shavings to create a 3-D effect. Blue/Iridescent glitter placed on the ball portion has been enhanced with a style glitter and the effect creates curls with a feathery soft appearance flowing around the tree topper. A thick layer of iridescent glitter makes the spire sparkle. Artists use same painting technique that was used in 1800's. Each glass topper is painted individually which makes them unique and adds some small variations to each product in height and bottom opening. Weight: 0.8 - 1 oz.
